keen·waa Miso Bowl

Updated: Apr 12, 2020

Keen·waa? Whats that?

If you haven't understand, try to say it once again, more consciously.

Sure you got it, but if still nothing I'm talking about quinoa!

Quinoa is really a alternative pseudo cereal to make a breakfast bowl, this time I've made it sweet by cooking it in plant based milk with some spices.

It remains crunchy and gives that nice texture that only this little grain gives.

Ingredients (for one person):

-80 gr Quinoa (soaked overnight)

-plant based milk

-vanilla

-cardamom (powder or pods)

-apple

-kiwi

-pear

-hazelnut butter

-banana

-toasted hazelnuts

-sprinkle salt

Method:

Cook the quinoa with milk (like explained here), spices and salt for 10-15 minutes (I like to keep it a bit more crunchy), let it rest 5 minutes.

Roast in a pan at medium heat the pear with a bit of coconut oil, maple syrup and miso (you can skip the miso if you don't have it, but listen to me. Its a game changer!)

Mash a banana and mix it in the porridge, add al the fruit you like, hazelnuts and a good tablespoon of hazelnut butter.

Enjoy!
